Alison Hodson
Alison qualified as a dental hygienist in 1996 from Kings School of Medicine and Dentistry in London, with distinction. She initially worked as a Staff Hygienist at Kings, before becoming a Tutor hygienist at Guys, Kings and St. Thomas Hospital. In addition to this she spent 12 years working part time in a Specialist Implant Practice in South London gaining experience working alongside Implant and Periodontal Specialists.
Since moving to Yorkshire in 2008, Alison works part-time as a Staff Hygienist at the Leeds Dental Institute, in general practice in Harrogate and now at the Yorkshire Clinic Lodge.
Alison gains immense satisfaction from enabling her patients to achieve good oral health, she enjoys the complexity of the treatment she carries out in hospital and specialist practice and is committed to continual professional development.
In her spare time Alison is also a passionate artist who has received several commissions for her work.
