Removable Partial Dentures

In some situations a removable partial denture or complete denture may be the most practical option to replace missing teeth for a patient.   Dentures can be made from a plastic material (acrylic) or a mixture of metal and plastic which carries the false teeth and helps secure the denture in the mouth.  

Sometimes special attachments are used to secure the denture without the use of clasps or clips. Dentures do vary in design and complexity and can be very successful when used appropriately.
